Glen Beck may be one of the most controversial people today, and his rally at the National Mall has caused many raised eyebrows. What is Beck trying to achieve? A question that many a people are searching for an answer to, yet no one can pinpoint. His delivery appears to be one based on faith and God, but some folks believe there is a hidden political agenda.

Rally At The National Mall

Mr. Beck calls it an attempt to “reclaim the civil rights movement, from politics” and apparently, thinks it was a coincidence or divine providence that it was on the 47th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s I have a dream speech.

It is estimated that hundreds of thousands of people attended the rally in Washington, and Glen Beck told Chris Wallace of Fox News that he [Beck] estimated between 300,000 to 600,000 people in the crowd. Interestingly, Beck went on to say that he believed people showed up because they are not happy with things.

What Was Glen Beck’s Message

According to Beck, it was about God and faith. Beck told Chris Wallace that he believes we need to stand in the “burning bush, stand in the fire, that’s the only thing that is going to save us.” Glen Beck’s message appeared more Biblical than political. The focus was on society falling away from faith and God. “Who is Glen Beck?” Wallace asked, “I’m a dad, I’m a concerned citizen trying to find the truth.” Beck replied.

The Rumors, Beck-Palin National Ticket In 2012

“I have no desire to be president of the United States.” Glen Beck stated. At this point, Glen Beck’s 2012 presidential ambition is unclear, but time will reveal a hidden political agenda if there is one lurking in the dark. Glen Beck sounds more like an opinionated preacher than a political candidate.
