Latest News: Kirstie Alley Talks About Her Big Big Life

The former “Fat Actress” has signed on for a new documentary/reality television show entitled “Kirstie Alley’s Big Life” which is set to premier March 21, 2010. She outlined it in today’s episode on Oprah. This 10 episode A&E reality series will follow Alley as she parents two teen aged daughters, True, 17 and Lillie, 15 and deals with weight issues in the spotlight of Hollywood. The series will coincide with the launch of Alley’s very own weight loss company.
Gained Weight Then Lost
Alley gained weight, then lost 75 pounds as a Jenny Craig spokesperson, then gained the majority of it back again while Hollywood’s paparazzi followed her to get the best and fattest shots of her. This show will document her humorous outlook on her size as well as her stab at weight loss, again. In addition to her weight loss company, Alley is patenting several inventions, producing a feature film, and looking for love all in a 30 minute episode. 58-year-old Alley is a Golden Globe and two time Emmy winner who appeared in movies such as “Look Who’s Talking” and “Drop Dead Gorgeous” as well as the television shows “Cheers” and “Veronica’s Closet”.
Kirstie Alley Bites Back
To add to the hype of the new show, Alley has recently been making headlines with Twitter fights with Joy Behar over some statement Behar made on “The View” in reference to Tiger Woods’ mistresses and with Conan O’Brien over fat jokes that he aired on his show “Late Night with Conan O’Brien”. Even more controversial than her Twitter rants, it seems, is the trailer for her upcoming “Kirstie Alley’s Big Life” released earlier this month ranting about hoping to have skinny booty calls, her dislike for the term ‘full figured’, and the list goes on. Tune in March 21st for the series premier you will either love to hate Kirstie or hate to love her, you decide.
