Massa Another Example Of Corruption And Sleaze In Congress

By Susan Thompson on March 10, 2010, 10:49 am

The recent fiasco surrounding Eric Maasa that has erupted in the House of Representatives is yet another example of how low America’s elected officials of both the members of the House and the Senate have lowered themselves to.

New York’s Elected Officials

One doesn’t have to search Google News to dig up much dirt on any of the elected officials from the State of New York. Just step back and look at a few of the recent low lifes that have erupted. Charles Rangel, chairman of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee forced to step down on charges of accepting corporate kickbacks. Senator Chuck Schummer makes unpatriotic comments to the effect, “Americans don’t care about these little pork amendments.”

New York Governor Eliot Spitzer was forced to step down while having to shamefully admit to in front of his family and the press that he had used to services of prostitutes. Governor David Paterson is still in question for the alleged accusations of getting Yankees tickets and imposing pressure of a woman who was supposedly sexually assaulted by a Paterson aide.

Glen Beck Interview

In the interview yesterday on the Glen Beck cable television show Massa dug himself further into the sleaze pit talking about tickling one of the aides. Beck, at one point in the interview, looked in the cameras and apologized to his audience for even bringing Massa on his show. Beck, very pointedly, questioned Massa’s honor during the show. One can bet your bottom dollar that the Massa story will continue to unfurl as he likely will continue to open his mouth. There was a time where Speaker Pelosi was quoted as saying that she was going to “drain the swamp” of corruption. As always, Pelosi now looks like the fool that she really is and most Americans find her to be a disgusting example of a leader.
