Scott Brown Is Driving His Truck To Washington In The Voter’s Seat!

By Richard West on January 23, 2010, 3:43 pm

The Massachusetts’ voters have spoken and Scott Brown will now occupy the sacred seat of the late Ted Kennedy. What a shock this must have been to all the comfortable democrats resting on their majority laurels! The next few weeks should prove to be a very interesting time in the nation’s capital.

Obama Regretting Martha Coakley Speech

Will President Obama regret the remarks he made in the recent campaign speech for Martha Coakley, referring to Scott Brown’s pick-up truck? Will the democratic members of Congress unwillingly move from the hard left to the center, or go down cramming more unpopular legislation down the throats of the American people? This was a prime example of the arrogance which has cascaded out of Washington over the last year. Is it ignorance of how the mainstream of America thinks or total apathy that would let such a verbiage flow so easily? Who was he really speaking to when he made such a statement?

Obama’s Chances

The good news for President Obama is that he has a couple years to gain back the approval of the American population. However, there may not be enough time to restore the public favor before the 2010 election. Will some of the democrat’s arrogance subside with the sixty vote Senate majority now a thing of the past? Will Harry Reid come out of his closet of negotiations? Will Nancy Pelosi still try to act like she has the best interests of America in mind? These questions will be answered over the coming weeks and months, but don’t be surprised if they remain on their haughty course. It might soon be discovered that many of the weakened democrats will stand firm, knowing that their days are numbered. Hey Congress, the pick-up trucks are rolling down the road to Washington, so you might want to watch out or you could get run over!
