Stimulus Bill: 80% Of $1.9B Of Green Jobs Money Going Overseas

By Julie Smith on March 4, 2010, 8:42 am

A Stimulus Bill is only a stopgap measure to prevent people from starving and for other emergency solutions. It will never stimulate an economy. Sometimes it is proposed just to give the impression of caring and to be seen doing something at a great loss to the taxpayer in the way of higher taxes.

Green Jobs And Investment Go Overseas

It is not surprising that money from the Stimulus Bill earmarked for Green jobs would go overseas. Europe is a leader in the Green industry and the money will go where work has already started. Green jobs are helped by government money. Most start-up industries need government help. It will be a long time before they produce a significant number of jobs. With unemployment at extremely high numbers, any increase in jobs due to the Green industry will be a drop in the bucket. Green technology is not a job creator. Besides, President Obama has international loyalty, especially to Europe.

Companies Becoming International Entities

Companies are no longer serving America. They go where the sales are. This is why Stimulus Bill money must go overseas. The American consumer has a long way to go to unwind and deleverage their debt. When you see companies doing well, it is due to foreign sales. The same goes with Green investment. Overseas is where the Green concept is in full swing.

Even the “Cash for Clunkers” went to foreign cars or American cars, whose major components are made abroad. This is a global economy controlled by globalists. Stimulus money, as did the Bailouts, went to satisfy foreign companies and their investments. This trend is accelerating. Any people believing that employment will return to anywhere near full employment, which is around 5%, are kidding themselves.

Green Jobs A Hoax

In order to power up a battery operated car, the battery needs recharging. The energy comes from coal and oil. So much for Green technology. The banks want to issue no paper statements, just for all of us to go Green. This is nonsense. We are using paper at a greater velocity than before this Green campaign. Going Green sounds better than the results it yields.
